University of Florida Athletics Hall of Fame


Chris Doering and Danny Wuerffel will be inducted into the University of Florida Athletics Hall of Fame tonight at a ceremony at the Touchdown Terrace. They will forever be linked by the moment, the play - their miraculous 28-yard touchdown throw and catch that beat Kentucky 24-20 in the closing seconds in Lexington on Sept. 2, 1993.

House Of Speed


The House of Speed's training sessions are designed for athletes involved in any sport. The training focuses on the developement of skills and uses specific conditioning exercises to enhance the one quality an athlete needs most...speed. This was started by Don Beebe. Don has given time to the Make a Wish Foundation and has been a regular offseason speaker to church groups, giving Christian testimony and an inspirational message. Don was honored as an "Unsung Hero" at the 24th NFL Players Association Awards Banquet; the award recognizes players from each team who exemplify dedication and love of football, fans and community

Sad News


Sad news from women's college basketball. Army coach Coach Maggie Dixon, who at age 28 led the Army women's basketball team to its first NCAA Tournament berth last month, died after suffering heart arrhythmia.

Florida Gators


Beating George Mason 73-58 Saturday night the Florida Gators advanced to Monday night's National Championship Game to play UCLA. Lee Humphrey hit 6 three pointers and had 19 points.
